The Philippines' hopes of shocking the entire world are set to come alive when they host two FIBA 3x3 events this year.

The organizers on Friday announced that Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 was poised to commence the World Tour Masters, wherein the Manila Masters will take place from May 28 to 29, while the Cebu Masters is set on October 1 and 2.

Chooks-to-Go president Ronald Mascariñas said that "the exposure of Filipino basketball players to 3x3 world-class competitions will not only seal quality to the fans, but also boost chances of tournament or Olympic Qualifiers history."

Aside from Manila and Cebu, the Masters tournaments will also be held in France, Prague, Lausanne, Debrecen, Montreal, Chengdu, Jeddah, Hong Kong, and Macau, two years before the beginning of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Even though the season will be closed on December 9 to 10 in Abu Dhabi, FIBA 3x3 managing director Alex Sanchez said that he "is grateful to Chooks-to-Go for insisting and continuing its efforts to help 3x3 in the Philippines."

He added that he "always thought and believed that the Philippines is a great opportunity and market for 3x3 through continuous efforts in these trying times."
